This week, we delivered our end-of-semester presentation to the class and mentors. We put a lot of thought into the content of each slide to ensure our messages were as accurate as possible.
The presentation provided many insights, but also raised several fundamental questions that we are now exploring:
Is it worth sticking with the bracelet format, or would another item be more suitable?
We need to define a clearer and more specific scenario for our product.
Should we integrate the product into additional classes, rather than just homeroom sessions?
The question of measurement-how do we know if we’ve succeeded in creating change?
These are complex questions, and we have already begun discussing the conclusions. We plan to use the semester break to dive deeper into these issues, hoping to start the second semester even more focused.
To address some of these points, we sat down at the end of class to further clarify the product's full utility and our primary focus. One important question was whether our product is specifically for "invisible" children, or if it is a tool for strengthening classroom social dynamics that fits everyone.
We learned a lot this semester, especially regarding the shift in our mindset. As entrepreneurs, we are required to think broadly and then narrow down, and then think broad again the following week. It is a challenging but essential skill.
On the research front, we presented our introduction to Hadas and received positive feedback along with some notes for corrections. On the development side, we gained valuable insights from Inbar, who gave us great tips on the technical aspects of building the product.
During the break, we will start writing the "Related Work" chapter. We are going to recharge our batteries and return for the second semester with plenty of energy. We will also find the time to submit our project to 8200, as we truly believe it can make a difference.
See you next semester :)
