This past week, we focused on gathering data and rethinking our product. We wanted to grow our knowledge base before diving into the solution, and talking to experts and students really helped us get a better handle on the problem we're trying to solve.

During the Hanukkah break, we sat down with Noa to sharpen our product logic. We realized our solution needs to be hyper-focused on 7th graders. While our gut feeling initially pointed to a personal product, the feedback we received during this session pushed us to consider a group-based interactive object, mainly due to budget and feasibility concerns.

Our goal is to address the issue of "invisible students", those who often get left behind. We’re developing a tool to help teachers lead "Life Skills" lessons in a more engaging and interactive way. Right now, we’re weighing two directions: a personal wearable bracelet for each student or a central interactive object for the entire class.

However, the debate wasn't over. We met with Dr. Hadas Harel again and presented the personal bracelet concept- where an LED lights up based on a questionnaire. She absolutely loved it! She described it as a literal "lightbulb moment" for breaking social stigmas. This feedback gave us a massive confidence boost to keep the personal option on the table as we prepared for our mentor pitch. On the academic front, we are wrapping up our article selection and heading into a final week of focus for our literature review.

We put together a four-minute pitch to present to our mentors in the next session. Because our product concept evolved, we went back to the drawing board for ideation, mapping out a new timeline and user scenarios.

It’s been an intense week of work, but we’ve learned so much!
